During our most recent @united8federation MTAAC event in Long Beach, I got to see a different perspective.
I didn’t corner my @missionmuaythailb fighters that night. I wore my promoter hat and stood on the other side of the glass.
And what I saw… was the coaches.
The emotions.
The pressure.
The responsibility.
Win or lose, they carry it all.
What people don’t always see is the real work. The early mornings, late nights, sacrifices, and constant commitment to building their students, their fighters, and their gyms.
No spotlight. No credit. Just consistency.

The main event of @united8federation was nothing short of great battle! Showcasing great technique, perseverance, heart, and respect. What a great fight to have for the @wbcmuaythaiusa 118 pound title.

United 8 Federation put on a great night of fights this Saturday. Lots of high level bouts and back and forth fights. Was an amazing event and was fun to see some of the people i met doing the WBC tournaments again!

Another fight in the books had a dominant performance despite feeling off and sluggish but nonetheless we got another fight for a belt against a tough opponent which is shaping up to be a good fight.
I also want to thank my coaches @fishman_360combat@ashlie_360combat for the support and I couldn’t be here without them and same with all my teammates in the gym regardless if y’all fight or are just there to better yourself you guys help shape me to be a better fighter.
lastly I want to thank @kru.jace for a great event he put on and I am very grateful to have been apart of it.

I arrived at Mission Muay Thai just as the show was beginning. I was already in the area on another job for the weekend and planned to photograph @ohsillylynn who is one of my sponsored athletes. She was the last bout of the evening so I was excited to take a leisurely and creative approach to photographing the rest of the show since I wasn’t officially on the job, but when I arrived and @kru.jace told me he had need for a videographer, I quickly shifted gears and jumped into action. As a result, I only captured a few stills but the photographs I took speak volumes! This work, just like fighting, always keeps me on my toes and that is why I love it so much - oh, and the amazing people I get to meet and photograph, of course! Before the first bell rang at our inaugural @united8federation MTAAC — Muay Thai Amateur Athletic Circuit, we grounded the event in something deeper than competition… tradition, respect, and heritage.
We were truly honored to welcome the monks from Wat Buddhavipassana | Vipassana — Long Beach, California, who performed a special blessing at Mission Muay Thai for:
• The academy
• The MTAAC event
• Every fighter stepping into the ring that evening
This meaningful ceremony reflected the true spirit of authentic Muay Thai where respect, humility, and honor come before competition.
For our community in attendance and for those watching around the world via live stream, this blessing symbolized our commitment to preserving the culture and heritage of Muay Thai while building something meaningful for the next generation of athletes.
