So about yesterday⊠it wasnât my night.
Iâve spent hours every day training, sacrificing time and effort, dieting, staying disciplined while losing weight, being tired, and still getting up in the morning to run when I didnât want to. All that effort leads up to a single night for a fight that lasts only 10 minutes. It sucks when I put it in perspective, but this is the game. I knew that as I kept climbing up the rankings, fighting tougher opponents, and chasing titles, I would get knocked off course at some pointâand last night was that moment.
I could play this game in my head, wishing I had done certain things differently in that fight, but it wouldnât change anything. Everyone loses eventually, so I just have to wipe the dirt off, fix the mistakes that were made, and move on.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who came to my fight. I never would have imagined that Iâd be able to bring that many people out. Regardless of whether you bought a ticket or watched the live stream, youâre supporting me while I chase this crazy dream.
(P.S. It definitely felt like that fight was the loudest out of the whole event.)
Lastly, to my coaches
@fishman_360combat ,
@ashlie_360combat , and
@tamarabpanduro : Iâm grateful to represent the gym and to have you there every step of the way, in every fight. I wouldnât be in this positionâfighting for titles and pursuing this pathâif it werenât for you all, and for that Iâm forever grateful.
With that, Iâm proud of the performance nonetheless and ready to climb back up for another title opportunity.
