𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (2025) When I looked at trees, I noticed human-like features in the wood, and it seemed as if they were telling their own stories. Knots looked like belly buttons, grain lines felt like skin shaped by time, and growth rings reminded me of a diary growing thicker over the years. The Identity Collection begins with these observations. By following the natural character of each tree, I translate its individuality into everyday objects. Each tree grows at its own pace and leaves behind subtle traces and stories. 𝗢𝗮𝗸 is a warm and generous tree. It feels like a grandmother’s hug. 🫶👵 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵 is a quiet and relaxed tree. Its simple beauty suggests slowness and balance. 🧘🍃 𝗦𝘆𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 is delicate yet strong. Its shimmering surface reflects growth and finding its place. 🪜✨ → Drawings in order: British Oak, Beech, Sycamore

𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗗: 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 ㅤㅤ Earlier this month, my work and my friends' work were exhibited in 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗗 organised by The King’s Foundation. This brought together two years of study and experimentation at Snowdon School of Furniture, showcasing a variety of approaches to working with British timber. It was truly inspiring to see such diverse ideas and practices in one space. ㅤㅤ I am very grateful to everyone who visited, and to @kingsfoundation for giving us this opportunity. I would also like to extend a special thanks to @nickwrightstudio , @studioarvor , and @willowbloomfield for all their support and care throughout the journey, and for all the unforgettable memories!

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗻 (2025) Hazel regenerates quickly through coppicing, making it an excellent renewable material. Its hard, lustrous bark contrasts beautifully with its soft, pale interior, a quality highlighted in this design. To express these unique characteristics, this Shoehorn is inspired by the hazel’s 𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 and 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀. This project explores both the sustainability of coppiced hazel and its potential for contemporary use. Thanks to @carmelkingphoto for the photos and to @fredbaier_com for the trip to the coppiced hazel forest. #shoehorn #coppicedhazel

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴! This exhibition “ROOTED” is with wonderful friends. A whole year has already passed, but the days at Highgrove still feel like last week. Each day was filled with big laughter, delicious smells, and happy moments shared with a touch of wood dust. During those five months at @kingsfoundation Snowdon School of Furniture, I learned how deeply I could immerse myself in the trees and timber and connect with them. This exhibition brings together 13 designer-makers and presents 34 works. Each piece has its own story. We would be delighted if you could come and hear our stories. ❝ ROOTED celebrates the work of students from the CREATE: Rethinking Wood for Furniture Programme ❞ Wednesday 5 – Friday 14 November 2025 Monday – Friday: 11:00 – 18:00 Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 – 16:00 Garrison Chapel, Chelsea Barracks, 8 Garrison Square, London SW1W 8BG
