I pinch myself every day to check if it’s a dream because I am a teacher with students who offer constant inspiration, love, laughter and grace. Even on the hardest days, I leave knowing I am aligned. Just a few things I got to do this year & not tagging but you know who you are. Thank you for accepting me, just as I am today & every day.

Revolution (noun) refers to a change or evolution of perspective, connection, and understanding.
Syncretic Revolution, presented by UCO dance seniors, is the exploration of what can happen when individuality and community meet. What happens when contrasting ideologies don’t divide, but instead inform and inspire one another? As four unique individuals, the seniors each bring our own voices, experiences, and ways of seeing the world to the reality of dance.

Congratulations to Alaina Gunn for earning the title of Class Marshal for the College of Fine Arts and Design! Alaina is a Dance Education and Forensic Science double major and was a member of the Kaleidoscope Dance Company.
UCO Summer Dance Workshop is June 1st-5th with UCO faculty and alumni! Daily classes in ballet, modern, jazz, aerial, and hip hop.
Three tracks available: Pre-Professional for college and/or career bound dancers ages 13-18, Teen Track for dancers 13-18 dancing recreationally, and Youth Track ages 8-12.

The Spring Student Choreography Showcase is April 25th at 7:30pm and April 26th at 2pm! The show will take place in the UCO Health and Physical Education Building. Tickets are $10 at the door and UCO students get free entry with proof of a valid ID. Come enjoy pieces choreographed by UCO Dance students!

We enjoyed hosting @ucodance students for an improv dance exercise in the gallery yesterday! Students studied and responded to sculptures featured in Josè Sacal: Un mexicano universal.
