A new @ucdavis and Stanford SPARQ study analyzed thousands of NYPD body camera videos and found that requests for consent during searches were often ambiguous — and sometimes differed based on race.
Researchers say AI-assisted analysis could help departments review footage more comprehensively while improving accountability and policy oversight.
