A message from Hayden Muñoz (CE + B ‘29) 🐻🏗️
I chose M.E.T. for the best of both worlds: a tight-knit cohort within the bustle of Berkeley. My favorite part is the balance. Everyone is individually driven, yet deeply supportive of one another.
Coming from a small farm town where the population is 4x smaller than the Cal student body, I learned early on to create my own opportunities. While the transition to a big city was an adjustment, the M.E.T. community gave me an instant support system.
Today, I’m proud to bring my rural California values to campus through @ruralatberkeley , @geowallberkeley , and AXO, all while taking advantage of M.E.T.’s internship programs and career fairs.
I’ve learned that no matter where you start, Berkeley is the perfect place to keep pushing boundaries.

Another amazing Berkeley M.E.T.-hosted startup fair in the breathtaking Spieker Forum at Berkeley Haas!
The Entrepreneurial Fellows Program is a one of a kind gem that links M.E.T. talent with UC Berkeley affiliated startups. Students gain valuable summer internship experience with their boots on the ground of burgeoning startups sourced by @berkeley_skydeck and @ycombinator , all while getting paid a $6K stipend.

History was made today, as a new class of first year applicants have been admitted to the Spieker Undergraduate Business Program, the Global Management Program, and the Management, Entrepreneurship & Technology Program! After careful consideration of thousands of applications from talented high school students from all over the world, we now have the opportunity to congratulate and welcome the newly admitted first year students to the Haas School of Business and UC Berkeley. Congrats new admits- We can't wait to meet you!
