@morganmackenz graduated in 2023 and went straight into a corporate role, but she knew she didn’t just want to follow a traditional path. Her goal? To build something of her own. Morgan started paying attention to problems in her everyday life. One kept coming up: as someone over 6 feet tall, she couldn’t find clothes that actually fit. She realized after talking with friends that it wasn’t just her. In early 2025, she acted on the idea and launched @simplyaboveavg , an AI-powered fashion tech company. The lesson for new grads: you can’t always wait for someone to give you the experience you want. You have to build it yourself. Learn more from LinkedIn’s 2026 Grad’s Guide. Link in bio.

"The difference between a big network and the right network is success." — @serenawilliams 🐐 We partnered with Serena and the @reckitt_us to show what that actually looks like in practice. Your network isn't a number. It's leverage. The right ecosystem doesn't just get you noticed — it gets you scaled. Serena's been using her platform to mentor and open doors for underrepresented founders. That's the move. Pass it forward.

If your job search feels like applying everywhere and hearing nothing back, you might be doomjobbing. A better approach? Be intentional about where you apply and how you show up. LinkedIn Career Expert Catherine Fisher breaks it down in this clip on @cbsmornings .

@isaactortorella graduated pre-med in 2023, but knew he wanted to pivot into marketing. The problem? He had ZERO experience to show for it. So he moved to New York, took a restaurant job to make ends meet, and started treating the tables he served like a pitch practice. Every stranger, a potential connection. That soon became his bridge job, leading him to a full-time marketing role. Learn more from LinkedIn’s 2026 Grad’s Guide. Link in bio. #GradsGuide2026 #NewGrad

🏈 What does the mindset of a top draft pick look like? Behind the highlights, @fernandomendoza follows a strict leadership blueprint: 👂🏽 Listen first: He gathers info to ensure he’s “helpful and efficient” before speaking. 🏃🏽 Step back: In the heat of the moment, he pauses to gain perspective and a real game plan. ⭕ Trust the circle: He relies on mentors and parents to keep emotions out of big decisions.

@alexisbarber graduated in 2020 on a corporate path, while creating content on the side. When she got her MBA, doors opened... but one thing became clear: she didn’t fit into a single lane. So instead of forcing it, she built a portfolio career on her own terms. A podcast, a newsletter, a consulting business that’s all her own. Learn more from Linkedin’s 2026 Grad’s Guide.
