This is Freddy at his most campy and quippy, but don’t worry, there’s plenty of body horror and bizarro effects for the greasy horror fan. 💃Freddy’s Dead is the only film of the BIG 3 slasher franchises (Freddy, Jason, Michael) directed by a woman: Rachel Talalay (best known for Tank Girl) says her inspirations were Twin Peaks and John Waters. Parts goofy, surreal, and disturbing, this film is best served after enjoying an adult beverage or two. ☠️This screening will be hosted by Liz Tyson @tysoncreation the window display artist whose huge 3D glasses display is up 24/7 until November at We Luv Video. Almost a year and a half and two houses ago, we shot a horror short called LURE in our kitchen. It's playing this Friday @hyperrealfilmclub and I'm so stoked to share this nasty little morsel with the world. I got to make blood clots and a broken window and an alien arm - The dream! Getting to work with the @hihowareyouproject on a mental health psa was one of the coolest, most colorful projects I've been a part of! I had the privilege of designing a board game using the art of the late great Daniel Johnston. His art style is very inspiring to me and I did my best to do it justice. Seriously, how lucky am I? Enter the ILLUMAVERSE! 🎄💿🔬🛸🧑‍🔬 Creating the Hallway of Nostalgia for @neldastudios + @dadalab.io 's @illumaverse was a dream! My concept was to transition guests from traditional hallway imagery to the out-of-this-world vibes of the rest of the installation.
