In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth, we had the pleasure of having author, musician, and community organizer, Tyson Amir (@tyamir ), present his interactive lecture, "Listen, Learn, Liberate: Black Voices in America."
Our community participated in a discussion on the historical and contemporary significance of Black voices in education, social movements, culture, and civic life. Thank you, Mr. Amir, for highlighting how Black voices and experiences are educational tools for Black liberation in America.

MAN! I had the absolute PLEASURE of talking and rapping to the students at Castro Valley Elementary School last week and we had a BLAST! It got a little chaotic, but that's the best part haha.
It was such a great experience to be able to be a small part of these kids' day. Almost made me miss the classroom...almost.
