Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 celebrating the Golden Jubilee. 50th Anniversary of Independence held at Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby. Delivering both the Opening Ceremony and Closing Concert.   With 20 world leaders in attendance, along with His Royal Highness Prince Edward, The Duke of Edinburgh, this event was a powerful celebration of culture, resilience, and national pride. This project was nothing short of challenging. From tight creative timelines, shipping delays, limited local resources, rigging and structure delays, to unpredictable power disruptions, every obstacle tested this show’s limits. Despite the hurdles, everyone pulled together with mutual determination to deliver a show worthy of this historic milestone.   Congratulations, Papua New Guinea, on 50 years of independence! Victorian State School Spectacular 2022 In the absence of Rob Cuddon, Rob appointed me with the task as lighting programmer on the recent State School Spectacular project. Working alongside lighting designer Paul Jackson, D3 programmer Luke Hawley and Technical director Chris Newman. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this team. Lightscape Melbourne 2022 Culture Creative appointed us as lighting designer for Lightscape Melbourne held at Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria. A beautiful 1.8km Illuminated walk trail for a 6 week season held in Melbourne, Australia. An integral part of the lighting design was showcasing both standing and fallen trees, garden beds, lake and waterways, including heritage architecture, whilst creating a narrative from imagery of rare and endangered specimens provided by the National Herbarium of Victoria. Lightscape Melbourne included artwork installations from international and local artists including gobo projection, lanterns, lasers, pixel mapping, flowers , and illuminated archways. @rising.melbourne 2022 at Forum Theatre. We consulted as a CAD draftsman and lighting programmer for lighting designer Andre Vanderwert. The centre peice of the design was 6m circle with 32x Lightsky beams to create geometric shapes over the audience, accompanied by a stage floor package.
