Tropfest 2026
Centennial Park, Sydney
At the centre of this year’s return was a flown triangular LED configuration - three ROE BQ4 screens suspended across three 11m truss spans, engineered to create a 360-degree audience-facing viewing experience within the circular park layout.
This wasn’t a single flat wall.
It was a suspended, geometric show structure.
With a Barco E2 4K processor integrated into the signal path for contingency control, the system was engineered for outdoor conditions, precise alignment and disciplined signal management.
Open-air festivals introduce variables you can’t control.
Control what you can: geometry, rigging integrity and crew coordination.
Tropfest isn’t just a film festival.
It’s engineered infrastructure supporting storytelling at scale.

Tonight the Sydney Harbour Bridge pylons are lit up in green and gold as part of a national moment recognising Australia’s world-first social media laws designed to help keep children safe online.
With an extremely short turnaround, our team deployed large-scale projection to support the activation - a fast, coordinated effort that shows what’s possible when capability, precision and experience come together under pressure.
Proud to help bring this important moment to life on one of Australia’s most iconic structures.

An arena of lights, projection, and large-scale LED - that’s how we helped bring this year’s NSW Schools Spectacular to life for @theartsunit .
With over 600 tiles of high-resolution LED, large-scale floor projection, and a broadcast-quality camera system, we deployed 18 operators across show control, cameras, projection, and playback - all working in sync to support an arena spectacular of this scale.
From rig to rack, from cue to live - proud to power the show behind the screens for another year.

Stranger Things took over Sydney Harbour - and we were behind the screens (or holographic mesh) making it happen.
From gostMESH to TW-Lite projection towers, and high-powered laser projection, TDC helped transform the harbour into the Upside Down. When the city turns red and the skyline bends into something strange, it’s the crew behind the tech where the real work begins.

Behind the Screens
Where the cues are tight, the comms never stop, and every detail matters long before the audience sees a single frame.
From control racks to playback stations, this is where precision turns into performance — powered by the people who keep the show running smoothly from start to finish.
