It’s taken the last 10 weeks… but it’s finally here.
The eighth studio I’ve been a part of building, and honestly my dream studio.
HVAC, electrics, acoustics, endless problem solving… this room damn near beat me a few times, but we got there. 😂
This build was all about simplicity and minimalism. A cleaner workflow, fewer distractions, and focusing on what actually matters.
Most of my mixing stays in the box, but now my summing is happening in the analogue domain through the new ngSumBox, ngBusComp and ngTubeEQ setup from Wes Audio, monitored by the almighty PMC 8-2 XBDs.
Still kind of can’t believe this room is real.
Welcome to my new mix room at The Hub Ibiza Studios.
Now back to making records.

The original Oberheim OB- X, built in 1979. Maybe my favorite synth of all-time. My friend Maks, who owns @turnlab here in Antwerp, let me borrow this lovingly restored beauty while I make my new album of synth and choir music. It has such a warm, rich, nostalgic sound — it feels alive under my fingers.
In this video, I turned on a nice Cocoquantus drone and then played the first thing that came into my heart. These are the iconic opening chords “In the Nature of Daylight” by @maxrichtermusic . They bloom beautifully with the timeless sound of the Oberheim.
BTW, not only does @turnlab have this OB-X amongst all their offerings, they also have a perfectly restored Jupiter 8. Gahhhhh….
