As most of you know, I spent January in Buenos Aires. I had an incredible time and made some amazing friends. Back in early December I was lucky enough to travel to Dublin for an edition of the Reading Room. Thanks to @sorcha.mcnamara and @firestationartistsstudios for the invitation and making it happen! And everyone that joined us for Sorcha’s beautiful reading✨ Also thanks to @sadiaph & @luci_rata for being part of it and @smellybenson for joining us! ♥️ It was short but oh so sweeeet, and just a taster for things to come! And of course we finished the night with a Guinness @clearysd1 😃

We are delighted to welcome Tsering Frykman-Glen as our first Curator-in-Residence, as part of the Colab Exchange Directors program between Tangent Projects (Barcelona) and PAR Residence (Buenos Aires). Tsering is a British curator, arts writer and artist mentor based in Barcelona. She has over 20 years of experience developing exhibitions, site-responsive projects, and artist-led initiatives across independent and alternative art spaces. Tsering was New Media Director at Phatspace gallery in Sydney (2004 – 2006) and has since founded and co-founded several experimental curatorial platforms, including The Spare Room (London, 2008) and the online project Remote (2011–13). Since 2015, she has been the director of Tangent Projects, guiding its growth from an itinerant curatorial initiative into an established independent art space.
