IMPORTANT UPDATE
This isn’t an easy statement to put out, but it’s an honest one.
After a lot of consideration, we’ve made the decision to step away from producing and selling our custom race kits FOR NOW.
WHY?
Material sourcing - With the current global climate, the cost of materials and shipping has risen significantly. We’ve also experienced inconsistencies in materials supplied to our factory, which aren’t always picked up in production and only become apparent once they arrive with us in the UK. This isn’t a standard we’re willing to accept.
UK operations - Due to a series of unfortunate events, we’ve had to take a step back operationally in the UK. This includes moving premises and making necessary cutbacks to stabilise the business.
Loss of passion & not meeting our standards - True Custom House was built on passion for racing, design, and community. But ongoing production issues, tight margins, and long lead times (6–8 weeks) have taken away from that. We know how frustrating delays and manufacturing issues are for you and for us and it’s not the experience we want to deliver.
What happens next:
* Race kits will remain available to order until Sunday, 10th May
* This will NOT affect any orders placed before this date, all orders will be fulfilled as promised
* From Monday, 11th May to 31st May, we will be closed for all sales while we move into a new premises
* From 1st June, we will reopen focusing on selected products: graphics, plastics, and trackside accessories
Throughout the 2026 season, we’ll be developing and refining kits with a small group of riders, with the goal of returning with a reliable, off-the-shelf product.
