Half our team went into the office last week to work on a stop motion project. My go to coffee shop is closed unfortunately but it was really nice to see the peeps outside of the Zoom window. Just make sure you don't eat any of the office snacks from 2019, those granola bars are no good.

🪐👄🪐 Meet the intergalactic champion of galactic golf! This is a peek behind the space suit of this quirky character for my orbing oddities short. The fun proportions made rigging and animation a particularly interesting challenge. Was it necessary to calculate the cross product of the hand controls so I could find the angle for a bend deformed? Absolutely. I’ve been using @procreate a lot more with my 3d work because the brushes are just so dang tasty. WE HAVE ARRIVED AT THE FUTURE!
I made this botanical arrangement in VIRTUAL REALITY using Gravity Sketch. It's a great software for Subdivision Surface modeling. Being in the space with the project you are working on is super cool. It's also nice when you can make your reference images the size of posters floating off to the side.
The plants are inspired by plants we saw when we vacationed in Puerto Rico a few years ago. Hiking in El Yunque, the rainforest in the center of the main land was so cool. Did you know there was a rainforest in Puerto Rico?
