Jukebox Roulette is a low-stakes, toonie Tuesday inspired battle with a twist! This battle is meant to educate wh/aackers (of all levels) exploring music-related themes in a competitive setting. Battle entry $2. Winner takes the pot. Spectators are FREE. With a twist, you say? Here's the format: After preliminaries, we will start at Top 8. We draw names out of hat. If your name is chosen, you get to choose your opponent. Your opponent then gets to choose the song by picking either: 1. Artist OR 2. Emotion You will be given 3 choices depending on the category. For example if artist is chosen, you must choose between: A. Donna Summers B. David Bowie C. Aretha Franklin If emotion is chosen: A. Joy B. Heartbreak C. Anger Artists and emotions will change up for every round throughout the battle. In an effort to level the playing field and encourage dancers to study, a playlist will be released TWO DAYS before the battle.
