I am really looking forward to taking part in this exhibition organised by the wonderful @sharonkingchai at @the_gallery_at_the_playroom_ in north London! From 9–14 June, a group of children’s book creators (and a few other creatives!) will be coming together for an exhibition celebrating ‘NATURE’. The exhibition will support two fantastic charities: @the_toy_project (who run the gallery) and @urban_forest_tribe . Both are brilliant local organisations focused on community, sustainability, and helping children connect with creativity and nature. @the_toy_project recycles unwanted toys, redistributing them to children in need both locally and internationally. They also run free community workshops, including LEGO sessions, art activities, and storytelling, while funding initiatives such as toy and book libraries, murals, and community events. They deliver nature-based sessions and projects that combine forest school, bushcraft, and environmental learning, with a strong focus on accessibility and inclusion. I've just seen on Drawn & Quarterly's feed that there is a new Edward Steed book coming out!! Which is completely excellent news, and also made me find these drawings I made last year and didn't post. Looking forward to a lot more of those number 3 feelings when I get my hands on the new book!

Two incredible school events yesterday with @tormalore at @noelpark_primaryschool and Trinity Primary! The children (and grown ups) learned all about how to make a comic, got a special reading from Tor’s graphic novel series Boss of the Underworld, and even drew their own comic book animals!
