“Deja Vu (@itsdejavuofficial ) could be described as the epitome of modern pop culture - the trio, comprising Elle, Ty and Diza, have amassed a hefty following... but they’ve only released one single. Instead they’ve made their name posting videos dancing everywhere from Tesco to packed train stations. That is, after a spell on The Voice, where the group managed to get all four judges to turn around.
Deja Vu’s vibe, however, is less modern than their story. As their name suggests, the trio is an ode to the noughties pop icons that came before them. Their present-day spin, though, sees them “being able to create a feeling that stays with people long after the music stops”. That’s why their only release, “HOT”, is just the start of something big.
