I directed the internet’s most viral Jungle documentary. My film Jungle Fever from 2014 has recently found a new lease of life online and is now going to be shown at @vam_east this Saturday 16th May.
The film will be shown as part of back2back: @upyarchives x @rendezvousprojects curated by @archives.nia who have put together a whole day of special programming celebrating Jungle throughout the years and across the globe.
All the events are free and require no ticket so you can drop in during the day.
My film will be played on loop throughout the day alongside a series of other jungle documentaries including A London Somet’ing Dis which was a huge inspiration on my during the making of Jungle Fever.
There will also be a screening of the incredible Hyper The Stevie Hyper D Story @mcsteviehyperd followed by Q&A with director @beatcultureldn .

Very saddened to hear that our good friend @luke.m.ryan passed away this week.
I first met Luke back in 2015 when we went to shoot him for an editorial in our shared home town of Birmingham. He was such a unique character and had tremendous soul which really made him stand out.
We went on to work together a lot over the years and he really came to define what Too Hot was about in those early days. He would travel down to London once a week to work on putting images together, I remember those times extremely fondly.
He will be greatly missed, my thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.
I’m lost for words. Rest In Peace Luke.
