Tom said: “May 2024, I had been a new dad for about 5 months and needed a creative outlet. I'd done a bit of improv before but had never been to a class. I didn't know what to expect, but thought I'd give it a go. I'm still giving it a go now after the brilliant teachers have introduced many tools to my improv toolbox. I'm still giving it a go now after meeting so many wonderful people who I could not speak highly enough of. FIT has offered a new dad feeling pretty isolated working from home, a creative outlet, so many performance tools, a hunger to get better, and a community. Special shout out to Lucy for building this amazing community and platform. It's been an honour to be a part of the FIT Improv Show. I'm very excited to be hosting the ✨️ birthday✨️ show! Introducing a cast regular... making his debut as HOST... it's Tom @tompullengram #MeetTheFitties 👏 👏 👏 For MOVIE WEEK, we asked our team about their favourite films 🎬🎥🍿🎟 Tom says: "When I was younger, I lived around the corner from Sainsburys Video Rental (not related to the supermarket). A go-to film rental was the original muppet movie. Beautiful and silly and filled with cameos of famous Americans from the 70s that I still don't know. Every time I listen to Rainbow Connection, I get very nostalgic and a bit weepy. Anyway, fast forward ⏩️(pun intended), and I've racked up some late fees, BUT I also have in my hands the store's only copy of Shrek...the HOTTEST FILM at that time. The guy says if I get the video back early, he will wipe my late fees clean... I go home, enjoy Shrek, and wipe off £6 of late fees. I felt like an All-Star."
