Since we didn’t send out Christmas cards this year, we’re sharing one of our favorite moments instead. So deeply grateful for each other, our family, our friends, and the support God has surrounded us with. As this year comes to a close, we’re holding on to what is good, counting our blessings, and stepping into the new year trusting that love is greater than all else. 🫶🏼
If I were to describe the perfect day… this would be it. Coffee by the waves, kids running wild, jumping through the ocean foam. Sunshine from sunrise to sunset. Witnessing a sea turtle eagerly getting released back into the water. Dolphins at dusk. Exploring nature, counting my blessings, and holding tight to the people I love. So grateful for them… and for this magical place. ✨🌊☀️🐬🐢

2010 was the year Tom won @alliancewake ’s Rider of the Year Award. The man dubbed the King of the Cable had continued to push his riding and the sport to new levels, and it was a ton of fun getting to head to his home state of TX to shoot with him for the ROTY feature article.
This shot was taken at @texasskiranch , Tom’s home cable park. He boosted a bunch of these giant method grabs off the kicker while I tried to frame it up with a wide angle lens looking at the sunset.
These days Tom is the team manager for @liquidforcewake , overseeing the best pro riders who once looked up to him for what he was doing on a board. It’s been a ton of fun getting to spend more time with him behind the scenes and bringing some of the LF marketing needs to life. Rumor has it there might be a comeback in 2026… 😉😂

Tom Fooshee was coined by Scott Byerly himself as the “King of Cable”, and Tom has the resume to back it up. Getting started in in Texas waterskiing behind the boat, Tom didn’t even start riding the cable until many years later when TSR opened. Tom is an eccentric and passionate rider who still follows the sport closely to this day, and has managed to stay in the industry after his professional career came to an end. The Debut, Wakeboarding with Jamie O’Brien, Texas football, contests, signing with Liquid Force, boat vs. cable, winning ROTY, and almost killing a swan while riding. 🛫The past month and a half felt like it used to be. From one place to the next with little time at home In between, except a hell of a lot more work. It’s been a fun one going to Mexico, Germany, the Smokey Mountains and Lake Lanier GA.
