@melissa_marquardt is a badass. Period. During her legendary career she was often seen and treated as “one of the guys,” but don’t let that label fool you. Mel more than held her own, constantly pushing the boundaries of women’s wakeboarding — whether it was through her focus on stylish riding, boosting off double ups, hitting gnarly rails, or dropping insane winch spots. Mel did it all and she did it her own way, and the influence of her ways are still being felt and carried on in the sport today. Needless to say, Mel’s impact on Liquid Force is immeasurable, from the Canyon Lake/So-Cal/WSR connection to her bright-as-hell boots, graphics and beyond. Truth be told, Mel probably has more stories and dirt on the entire LF team than anybody… here’s hoping she doesn’t release the hounds in “The PULL.” 😂🤘

Another look back at a shoot from a decade ago at @area52.tv . Nick Dorsey was a regular out at Henshaw’s place, always throwing down and always keeping everybody entertained. I set up a few lights for an evening session and posted up on the floating dock by the PVC A-frame. I always liked how this one turned out. A couple months later, the infamous wall would be built and the crazy photo sessions would continue.

There isn’t a rider more synonymous with Liquid Force than @withshanebonifay . Whether he was blowing minds as a punk grom rocking the Mini Squirt, or setting trends with his unique style on a number of signature shapes, Shane did it all during a legendary career. And then he followed it up by stepping in to lead the LF video department, which he still does today. It’s crazy to think that Shane has been with us for almost 30 years himself. Simply put, Liquid Force would not be what it is without him, by a long shot. Stay tuned for “The Pull.”
