Here are my proudest pieces of work to date. Actually got a bit teary eyed when I watched the final cut of this, I never would have imagined I’d have this body of work at this point in my life. Never. It’s all thanks to the incredible Directors that put their trust into me to create the things that have lived only on paper or in their minds. To all my small, but incredibly mighty, crews that I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with, thank you! On top of all that, the incredible individuals I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph their immense on screen talent, y’all rock!
Going into my 3rd year as a freelance cinematographer has had its fair share of struggles, but still would never trade it for anything in the world. Got some big plans this year and I’m excited to keep taking new steps in this career.

So damn proud of this one. Bobby is a real one and I’m so thankful for our collaborations together, this one is my favorite to date. To Carlos for always nailing it with the lighting and being the most fun to work with, and for bringing Alejandro along, y’all slayed. To my new friend, Taras, on the Steadicam. He came in last minute and did one of the most perfect Steadi dances I’ve seen with my own two eyes, please hire this man!! To Dylan and Sid, the post process was immaculate! Last but not least, to Eleven04 being there for me since 2017, I am eternally grateful for the continued support!

Gonna change it up for the first time in a very long time and make a post with some peaks into my real life. We love our sappy end of the year posts, but I just feel like I have to timestamp this year in particular. What you see here is just a glimpse of some of my favorite moments I have been beyond grateful for, getting to shoot and discover a really incredible up and coming band’s music video, @axandthehatchetmen with the brother Bobby in the director’s seat, another year full of @trulliaudio shoots, getting to travel to see some of my favorite artists with some of my closest friends, and getting in some solo travel reps as well. I will be holding this year so close to my heart, thankful for all my friends and colleagues that make this life of mine beyond worth living, and the experiences that really solidify the joy I live for each and every day of this life.

Extending every ounce of gratitude out to this band for allowing me to freely create a piece I was truly happy with as well as writing such emotionally intoxicating music. This track was the lead single off their freshly released record 'the loneliest place i've ever been'. I captured this performance on the final show of their tour in West Chicago with @emeryofficial back in July. Please check out the new Have Mercy record, it's their most definitive and honest songs yet!! Thank you to Brian, Nick, Steve, and Andrew for being the most wonderful supporters!!!

Stopped by the ‘ol @eleven04pro to give their new babies a test drive. This is the only set of Blackwings local to Chicago as far as I’m aware, and boy are they GORGEOUS. They are the Expressive Tunings, so they may not work for every project, but the right one that comes along and these will really shine. Look at those 🌈 flares! Which tunings are your favorite? I’m also really trying to put in a good word for this @kinefinity Mavo LF. Sure it has its quirks, but the image, especially combined with some of the industry’s top notch glass, just has such an amazing look and texture. Especially a big fan of the 6K 3:2 Open Gate mode!

Can You Hurry (2023) | Narrative Short
Thrilled to share some stills from our film I photographed last October with an incredible small group of friends. Shot on a rooftop in Chicago over 3 consecutive nights, it proved a challenge to keep consistency in setups as this story is told in 15 real time minutes. Super happy with the product and excited to see how it performs on the festival circuit!

IKEA - ‘Life At Home’
Super excited to share this project I shot for @ikea this past Fall. This is the Chicago portion of a 5 city international campaign that features people in London, Tokyo, Berlin, and Mumbai. Can’t thank my bud Armin for all the help and equipment support on set. Director Bobby Eccles Zoomed in to direct this which was a first for me and thankfully was a pleasant experience!
