To make independent film is to understand that sacrifice and gain go hand in hand. I’ve been so fortunate to have the freedom to create alongside and to have the trust of a great team of collaborators on the film Line Cooks. When scheduling overlap threatened my ability to be a part of the project altogether they believed in my contribution to the film and then there was no question that before having to leave the project early that the look I created would live on. This is something that could not have happened without the talents and support from the best backbone you could ask for. Camera operator-Madelyn Momano Gaffer-Seth Oberle and First AC-John Sedivy are the reason why the look and the spirit of Line Cooks continued on beyond my time shooting it. With the help of additional photography by the wonderfully talented cinematographers Amy Limpinyakul and Herman Asph the film will be a complete testament to how that with the right people involved and dedicated to the storytelling that anything is possible.
