The exhibition presents bodies at the edge of coherence: ungainly, exaggerated and resistant to refinement. Moving between the uncanny and the mechanical, the artists position the body as both a failing system and a generative structure. Influenced by surrealism and clowning, they depict emotional, absurd figures that oscillate between humour and disturbance, heightening a sense of chaos and vulnerability.

Distracted Actions at APT Gallery in Deptford, 12th-15th February.
Pleased to be invited to contribute to Distracted Actions, an interactive, curatorial experiment by Moyra Derby, Jenny Dunseath, Kate Squires and Claire Undy, with additional artwork by Jo Addison, Judith Brocklehurst, Dominique Golden, Matthew de Kersaint Giraudeau, Kelly Large, Leap then Look, Flora Parrott, Mari Fujii-Pratt and Tom Woolner.
Opening: Thursday 12th February 6-8pm
Exhibition open: 12-5pm, Thursday 12th - Sunday 15th February
Event: Distraction in Action - works in the show will be activated and disrupted by live performance and discussion. 2-3.30pm on Friday 13th February.
