I wrote this song a year ago on my birthday, feeling that strange pressure when all the love arrives at once and somehow gets harder to let in.
As an only child, I’ve always felt like I had to be “on.”
So I’m releasing it today, on my birthday, as a small ritual of honesty — learning to receive love slowly, in my own timing.

Today, I released a new song “Be Who You Are” produced by @cheopardo , available on digital music streaming platforms.
“Be Who You Are” was inspired by a moment of self-realization: I noticed that the judgments I make about others often come from my own insecurities. The song is about letting go of the fear of not fitting in, embracing authenticity, and recognizing that we don’t need to change ourselves to be accepted. It’s a reminder to stand unapologetically in who you are.

We had the honor of pressing this beautiful, limited-edition vinyl for @carlosvives to celebrate 30 years of “La Tierra del Olvido”!
Originally released in 1995, Carlos really knocked it out of the park with this album, changing the game forever for Colombian music by blending traditional vallenato with rock and pop (really funky too though).
Remastered from the original master tapes and pressed on a 180g vinyl; the sound is unbelievably warm and alive. You can really hear every detail and texture of his voice and traditional instruments. Pure analog goodness.
Packed in a killer gatefold jacket and it also includes a personal postcard note from Carlos… and maybe a never-before-released BONUS TRACK that I’m technically not allowed to comment on? 👀👀

How is everyone doing out there? I have a new single “One Day at a Time” produced by @cheopardo available via the Spotify link in my bio or wherever you listen to music 🩷 The song is about my attempts to cope with sometimes feeling “trapped” in my body and the fact that wherever I go, I take myself with me. I wrote it as a reminder to myself to take life one day at a time. All we really have for certain is this moment right now, after all. Thank you @crisverge for this beautiful video.
