The knowledge you’ll pick up is worth more than a day rate early on.
A lot of DP’s offer shadowing opportunities because someone probably did the same for them when they were starting out.

‘Not Running’
A film that brings together runners, musicians and artists to explore how sonic and light environments reshape our perception of time and identity when running.
Part of an on going collaboration with @rebeccasalvadori and her wonderful team.
To shoot something so nuanced at this scale was tricky, it was about being in the moment to observe and capture feelings that are hard to describe. It was great fun finding the pockets where this film came to life. -Two set builds
-Only able to light one set at a time
-Complex camera movement
-VFX to consider
So we simplified where it mattered and protected what was important.
