Somehow I knew we would be friends before I even met you. I spied on your Pinterest boards before your official first day at the Food Bank and thought, “I hope this girl is ready for me to force my friendship on her.” But nothing could have prepared me for how deeply you would burrow into my life and my heart. You had a special talent for making everyone around you feel warm and bright, and how lucky am I to have been one of those people. I see you everywhere I look, and you’ll always be home to me. Channel Kindness is out in the world today and I can hardly believe it đź’›
This was one of my first projects when I started as a Macmillan designer a year ago, and I’m so proud to have had the opportunity to work on it. Team effort does not begin to describe this project - @mallorygriggbooks and I tag teamed the cover and we each designed half of the 300+ page interior (every page was uniquely designed!). To top it off, @miketype added his beautiful hand lettering to the chapter title treatments.
