R+A Engineering — Mark / Icon
With a very literal mark made up of lowercase letterforms, the less obvious easter egg became the '+' sign carved out of the negative space.
The language and curves of the letterforms were then used as structural elements to add interest to various assets and sections of the website.
Rebranding R+A Engineering meant finding the balance between past and future.
For a firm that works with ambitious architects and developers, it became clear that restraint would be more powerful than flash.
The result: a brand and digital presence as precise and purposeful as their structural work. Sometimes the strongest foundation is the simplest one.

Mark explorations for Encore – an app and platform for buying and selling collectibles through in depth videos.
One of the overarching concepts was to create an 'e' that also formed a '2' , hinting at the idea of collectibles having a second life through trade – while others hint at the the act of buyers and sellers coming together.

Late September will always conjure memories of wineries, and helping to bring brands and stories to life with the founding teams – especially @plotwines , after jumping into a direct partnership and helping lead brand, ecomm, marketing, and content over 6 years.
We quietly shut it down earlier this year, but still get quite a few messages from past customers and connections, which is a really nice open line to have – that's what this image about:
