I’ve been having trouble figuring out how to start this. My thoughts jump around to so many different moments,places and conversations with Tim. What I do know is Tim could light up a room and was one of the best friends I could have asked for in this world. From countless phone calls and some of the most fun studio sessions to just goofing around on tour, he was always the most fun and most energized. He pushed to always be better in life and his work. Tim really made those around him want to level up.
He always said to me “The rising tide floats all boats” and he meant it! He genuinely wanted to see those around him level up. He would see potential in you even if you didn’t see it in yourself. Tim had a way to bring it out of you. He was so stoked when his friends would succeed and loved to see people working together. That’s what this world is all about right? Those moments to see you friend and family grow. Tim championed that.
I’m gonna miss our morning calls telling him about what I just learned at the gym or how stoked he would get when we stumbled upon a sick sound he could turn into a groove.
I’m gonna miss hearing stories of how proud he was of his kids when they would accomplish something cool in their lives. I’m gonna miss talking shop and dreaming about the future with him. He had so much love and meant it.
I’ll never forget all you’ve done for me. I’m grateful for the time we had together. I’m grateful to call you a friend and brother.
