Flashback to Christmas 2018, when we published a lovely story by @elfredapownall in the Telegraph mag about the London home of Charlotte Freemantle and Will Fisher of @jamb_london . Itās a house with an abundance of beautiful fireplaces for Father Christmas to choose from, but my favourite detail was that on Christmas Eve, there would be a knock at the door and the children would open it to find a pair of pyjamas each on the doorstep. Itās a tradition Iāve adopted (copied) ever since, and somehow my own children are still surprised (and delighted) each time. Thank you Will and Charlotte. š Pics: @michaelsinclair
Just the ticket for a grey and rainy Monday - a snoop around the cosy home of @lydia Millen, all ready for Christmas. The crab apples you can see just outside the window in pic 1 were such a cheerful sight, as were Lydia's two sausage dogs, and some very glamorous chickens (sadly not in the pics). It is so much fun to talk to @russellsagestudio about interiors. This time it was to hear all about his work at @lilibetsmayfair , a new restaurant on the site of the house in which Elizabeth II was born. A few design details here, including the glamorous snug, the equally glamorous private doing room complete with pink sink walls, and, of course, the spectacular bathrooms. An epic dinner at the beautiful home of @skyemcalpine last night to celebrate Skye's hamper collab with @fortnums . Amazing food, delicious decor and the best company. Christmas is coming and I'm here for it.

It was such a pleasure to visit the lovely @pearllowe in her Notting Hill home a couple of weeks ago. We talked about her move back to London after 20 years in the countryside, and how she decorated what was a white-painted blank canvas in her trademark style.
