A storybook weekend in Vienna celebrating the 150 year anniversary of @sacherhotels with @aerin and @a.winkler ✨ Breakfast in bed (crêpes laced with sweet apricot compote), apple strudel, hot chocolate with whipped cream, Sacher torte on tap (the actual dream), Kaiserschmarn with poached rhubarb, and chocolate dipped marzipan truffles. And that’s just some of the sweets… Vienna does sweets well. I ate my body weight in Wiener schnitzel (my favourite) and white asparagus (another favourite), visited the Spanish Riding School (breathtaking), got lost strolling through the streets (the best thing to do in a beautiful city), shopped for handmade pyjamas and got all dressed up for dinner and cocktails. Happiest memories to treasure alway: I ❤️ Vienna (and @sacherhotels ) forever.

Happy Easter 🐰✨ We celebrated with a breakfast of rainbow-dyed boiled eggs, Colomba cake and sweet pastries, followed by a highly competitive chocolate egg hunt in the garden and lunch with friends. And the sun has been shining all day, which feels like the biggest treat of all ☀️ Hope you’re having a wonderfully happy and spoiling day too! 💛
Lunch at home today to celebrate my brilliant friend @milliproust and her (even more brilliant) new book, ‘How Does Your Garden Grow?’. Milli has been working on this book for years now and, truly, it is a thing of such beauty - if you love flowers and gardens then go go go and buy it now (trust me: I just know you’ll love it). For lunch I baked a few beetroot and horseradish galettes (recipe from ‘The Christmas Companion’); then we had a new potato and Amalfi lemon salad; a lentil, walnut and feta salad with fresh herbs and slivers of pickled red onion; wild rice, butter bean and pomegranate salad; and a nice crisp green salad with a mustard-y dressing. For pudding: rhubarb cloud cake (three tiers of meringue with whipped cream and roasted sherbet-y rhubarb, loosely adapted from the recipe for Summer Berry Cloud Cake in ‘A Table for Friends’). The table was decked out in the prettiest Spring flowers, all lovingly grown by @alma.proust in their garden; and best of all was the company! The biggest thank you to everyone who came and made today such a special and happy occasion; and the biggest congratulations, Milli, on another spectacular book!✨
A postcard from Loch Ness where the sun is shining, the waters are crystal clear (albeit chilly) and the dress code is strictly tartan 🏴 Thank you @gianlucalongogg@julesperowne@wildland.scot for the most magical few days at Aldourie Castle which is such a special place: impossibly chic and yet still wonderfully cosy. And with all the magic of a fairy tale to boot! I’m still reeling (literally and metaphorically - see the last snap) from the magic of it all. Happiest memories and happiest days in one of the most breathtakingly beautiful corners of the world 🩵
