Life after cancer is about learning to embrace the new normal and to embark on new life adventures. And sometimes, new life adventures can look like…. taking on an emcee gig, IN A BOXING RING 💥 Grateful to @grey_evolution for believing in me (the 2nd time round), to be the voice for @fashionforcancersg , this time for a fundraising collaboration with @theringwhitecollarboxingshow that took place at @marqueesingapore . Proud to report that the live auction raised $13K, and that went towards FFC’s 2025 fundraising goal of $200K. Pretty awesome hey 🥹 Contrary to what you may see, I am not as extroverted as one would think. I was shy about “announcing” this new challenge, cos you know, Imposter Syndrome. “Am I good enough to do this?” Absolutely relieved that Chemo Brain didn’t hijack the day, and I’m just, beaming with pride, to be in company of all the amazing fellow warriors who took to the ring with me. We kicked cancer’s ass, and we showed that there is life after cancer, and it can look pretty damn good. Thank you to the gold hearted folks who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this happen. I felt like a million bucks, still do. I feel a renewed sense of accomplishment and hope, that I can still shine and contribute towards not just my personal growth, but towards a cause that will impact many lives above mine. Two worlds, boxing AND fashion, collide to tell one story: the story of the human spirit that refuses to back down. One that is about learning to stand tall, even when life tries to knock you off your feet. This special halftime show, a collaboration between @theringwhitecollarboxingshow and FFC, saw 10 extraordinary individuals stepped into the ring. They are not professional models or fighters. They are cancer survivors, proud Model Ambassadors both current and alumnus. We are grateful to be given another opportunity to partner up with the big hearted folks of @theringwhitecollarboxingshow as the chosen beneficiary under their 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 program this year. And what an exciting experience it was, to have free creative reign of how we wanted our show to run!
