當日好熱 加上身體未完全復原
所以今次只係想開心完賽
最終時間比預期快 身體無爆 心情滿分
有時放低對自己的壓力 享受過程

Reset
Lombok - 2023 Feb
This is how it all started for my year away. By hitting the “Reset” button.
Many people thought that I planned my trips ahead. Actually it’s quite the opposite.
For my first trip, all I had in mind was to reset my imbalanced life.
I envisioned my first trip would be going to some unknown island, with bright sun, ocean waves and sandy beach; doing things that I always wanted to do but “never had time” for.
And I found Lombok, an island that I never heard of. Then I discovered @floatingyou , a surfing + yoga retreat that was about to start in less than a week with only one opening left.
It seemed that the stars aligned, so I took a leap of faith, and let the Flow take me away.
And, 5 days later, I was on a plane, heading to Indonesia. I had a feeling that I would enjoy my trip, but I never knew I would end up with so much more.
And here it is, my travel vlog for my first destination of A Year Away - Lombok, Indonesia.

Prelude

Two years ago in February, I was in the hospital. My stress and imbalanced lifestyle caught up with me. Even then, I remembered I was still in a client call for two straight hours in that hospital gown…

A year later, same week, I started my year of traveling, self-care and discovery. My first trip was a surfing and yoga retreat, two things that I barely had any concept on. This trip then created a ripple effect and beautifully kicked off my year of unexpected adventures.

A step at a time, a year at a time, I’m here, now. I’m no where near the perfect balance I wanted to have, but I am enjoying my journey and direction.
I’ve been depressed and now I’m more contented. I’ve been sick and now I’m healthier. I’ve been broken and now I’m rebuilding. And I will keep going.
A year away. Away from my comfort zones. Away from boundaries and boxes. Away from my cave. Away from the same old shit.
We are the changes we want to see in ourselves. Anything can happen in a year.🤘🏽

Final Practicum (YTT 200)
For the longest time, it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - my real life. But there’s always some things in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, some works to be done, some people to meet or to help, some debts to be paid.
If I just powered through these, then my real life would begin.
But, it occurred to me that all these things…were my life.
You see, there is no way to happiness. Because happiness is along the way.
The truth is, there's no better time to be happy. If not now, then when?
So, let’s treasure every moment that we have. And treasure it more because we shared it with someone special, special enough to spend our time... and remember that time waits for no one.
It’s not the results that’s important, it’s who we become in the process of achieving those results.
From day one to day 21,
21 of us, walking thru this special journey.
We spent time together.
We support each other.
We are here.
And we are still here, together.
No matter what happens after.
We are ALL warriors, enjoying our journeys together. 🙏🏽
