A room transformed by light, texture, and a little drama overhead. Soft draping stretched across the ceiling, candlelight flickering across long tables, and deep red florals bringing just the right amount of contrast to the warmth of the space. We leaned into layers for this one, airy fabric above, glowing tables below, and sculptural arrangements woven throughout the room to keep the eye moving. The result was a reception that felt intimate, atmospheric, and just a little cinematic once the lights dimmed and the candles took over.

Drapery has always fascinated me. The way fabric flows through a space can completely transform its energy—softening hard lines, adding movement, and creating a sense of intimacy and refinement. In weddings, I’ve seen drapery turn the simplest setting into something cinematic and poetic. Whether it’s a tented ceiling, cascading panels framing an aisle, or delicate layers behind a table, it instantly elevates the atmosphere and gives the space a curated, elevated feel. It’s no surprise that more couples are embracing it. Drapery not only decorates, it sculpts light, creates depth, and sets the tone for the celebration. To me, it’s one of those details that makes a wedding feel truly elegant.
