This is 50! All the love to my wonderful family and friends, old and new, who have celebrated with me and been so kind and thoughtful for the big 50. Pretty lucky to have all these people with me as I enter a new decade. Thanks everyone. You are all the best.

I knew this production would be exceptional because it had so many of my faves in it (dream cast - @aaron_pierre1 Giles Terera @arthurhboan@jasonpennycooke Olivia Williams @kedarw.s , and the whole ensemble) but I was still blown away. Moving, funny, tragic, switching tones to devastating effect. @clint_dyer_ ’s direction is a marvel, and the setting and casting add powerful layers to an already complex play. @benstones set is incredible.

When you meet someone who embodies their work wholly. Had the pleasure of listening to and meeting @charliemackesy . He even taught us how to draw his characters - brilliant teacher! He had lost his voice but still gave everyone time and care. If ever an author didn’t need a voice to express his compassion and kindness, it’s him 🦊 🥰
Astounding. An artist at the absolute peak of their power. Mind-bogglingly performed and choreographed. @cynthiaerivo is on another level. The staging, adaptation and direction by @kip_williams matches the talent onstage. Completely rewrites what theatre can do. ❤️😍 @draculawestend

A few years ago, I went to a poetry and music night to see my friend @ifadyelsayed (who was brilliant, naturally) and a young poet was performing @mascappeal . I can’t really describe exactly what he does but he has some kind of magnetic talent which you can’t look away from. We’ve followed each other on IG since and chatted but tonight I got to see him do his stuff in Dracula. And, if anything, he’s even better (how?) than when I first saw him. So proud. Incredible performance. I don’t know what star quality is, but he has it in boatloads.
And thanks to @jae.only for the photo, who is also phenomenal in this show. He does a monologue in the second act that is just astoundingly moving. Proper talent.
A legendary gig from @azuonline , brilliantly supported by @rhblackman and @mzerek_@greennotemusic . This was my favourite of all his concerts. A real songwriting and performing talent. Thankful for knowing Azu this year and getting to know him even better. Thanks for playing Plastic Life and Lagos my alltime favourite. I know the weight of sadness that song carries - it’s beautiful.

Wow! I knew @reevecarney and @livevamaria in @kitkatclubldn would be incredible but I was still blown away. Rare to find such a perfect match of performers to roles (although these two could play any roles and they would be magnificent). The spirit of the show is perfectly embodied in this latest cast iteration. Reeve’s rendition of I Don’t Care Much and Eva’s Maybe This Time are worth the price of admission alone. Absolute genius.
