It’s funny where the work takes you. Along the way, my career took a turn and I found myself designing characters for film — most recently with Oscar Isaac on Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.
Oscar and I have been collaborators and friends for nearly seven years now, building characters from Hamlet to Dune, Scenes from a Marriage, Moon Knight, and now Victor Frankenstein…
This project has been one of the most exhilarating creative experiences of my career. Working alongside the brilliant costume designer
@katehawleycostume , makeup artist
@makeupjordan , and hair queen
@clionafurey , we built a journey from grand, operatic beauty into a world carved out of blood, dirt, sweat, and ice.
It pushed me to think differently about beauty, storytelling, and how hair can hold emotion on screen. This chapter expanded what “beautiful” means to me. Deeply grateful for the craft, the collaboration, and the people who make it come alive.
