I’m back for a second season of my Sonic Puzzler residency on @zest.radio . My first guest is the adventurous Maylis aka Makar for a session of deep dubstep, 2-step, breaks, bass and more.
A key figure in Strasbourg’s club scene, Makar first fell in love with turntables in Scotland, where she was inspired by the house scene and its subgenres. Drawing on a diverse range of music, she is a DJ who can get a dance floor moving, seamlessly transitioning between soulful house, Chicago ghetto house, UK breakbeat and 2-step. As part of the @club.in.house collective, she combines music and dance. She is also a resident DJ for @karmen.camina .
