My father was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer 6 weeks ago and yesterday that battle came to an end as he passed away at home peacefully in his sleep, with me by his side holding his hand. Thank GOD he is now at peace. He approached his death with remarkable serenity, a testament to his inner peace and acceptance of the natural cycle of life and death. “A boy doesn’t become a man until his father dies.” Today that statement rings true for me as I reflect on the loss of my father. A man that was good brother, father, and husband. He touched many lives. He was a protector. A warrior. A Joker, and a Lover. His words always uplifted you and his kindness will be remembered for generations. His family was his greatest accomplishment. Something he was really proud of. At a young age and 1 of 7 siblings he helped his mother raise his entire family once his dad went missing. He then grew up without a father, which I believe, helped mold him to become the father he always wanted. A man of strong morals and values. He served in the @usnavy for 22 years during the Vietnam War +++ as a S.E.A.L. & even re-enlisted at the liberty bell. He took his oath very seriously and never wavered from his love of liberty and freedom. He then went on to raise his own family starting with my mother’s first 2 children which he always considered his own. After divorcing my mother he found the most amazing woman for a wife that then in turn took us children under her wing as one of her own. Together they had two more children. He was so very proud of his grandchildren. I learned a lot of lessons from my dad but none hit quite like the one I experienced over the last final weeks of his life. I came to fully understand the true difference between a Rich man vs Wealthy man. My family came together like always and we were extremely lucky enough to all get some quality time with him. I think we are all grateful for that. I love you daddy, thank you for everything. Now; next phase.

They say you cannot complain or have an opinion unless you vote, so last week I cast my vote a 2nd time for Donald Trump. I am NOT a republican. I am NOT a democrat. I am an American and I believe the only way to correct the course of this nation was to elect Donald Trump again, and it feels great knowing a majority of the nation agrees with me. Now, regardless of how you voted, WE are all going to #MakeAmericaGreatagain together. I see a very bright future ahead, one that we can all be excited for. There is no reason to be scared or fearful about what’s coming. reminder: I’m not someone who has discussed politics publicly on this platform. I have not participated in blasting political rhetoric the last 8 years on my timeline. It’s time for me to speak now to help others see it’s ok. I’m entitled to be open about my support for DJT. I am aware most of my friends list are in the film / tv industry and that my views are not shared by a majority of you, however they are shared by a majority of the country. I also think you underestimate how many people within our industry support Trump silently. IN TIME you will see. I lost over 60lbs in 100 days . Today I completed 100 days on the Carnivore diet. Never planned to do any before/after shots so did the best I could considering this all started not to lose weight specifically. I wanted to reboot my gut biome and FEEL healthy again! 268lbs to 206lbs today. My goal was only 220 and now I’ve set a new goal of 185. All this was obtained keeping my exact same physical activity levels as before. Zero exercise, YET. Today also marks 7 years since the start of the most life changing journey of it all, following the truth. Next month will be 17 years since I starting my own production company and working for myself. Thinking for myself. Trusting myself. I’m not making this post to brag about losing weight, or to draw attention to my success. I’m documenting this for myself. So that I can look back and hold myself accountable for what goes into my mouth, and what comes out of it. I’m still a bit of ways off from the level of “healthy” I want to achieve but all this wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t chose ditch conventional food and nutrition information to risk it all. Back from another break from IG. So much information these days you really have to control your consumption of it. One of the things that got my attention about a month ago was a good friend of mine releasing his first book. “The Phenomenal Sasquatch: Seeking the Natural Origins of a Cultural Icon”. I ordered it right after Matt announced it and couldn’t put it down when it arrived. He has a unique approach to investigating the topic and then presenting information to the reader. Topics under such scrutiny and ridicule often make it hard to discuss or even explore internally because of the stigma. Thats potentially one of Matts greatest gifts. The ability to explore something so deeply regardless of how others view it. Then share his findings. He’s always been that way. @mattpruittonline has been into researching the Bigfoot phenomenon for over 2 decades, basically since I first met him. Not just literature & evidence but a field researcher. He’s also a member of the North American Wood Ape Conservancy. Somehow he even produces the BigfootNBeyond podcast. Credentials and vouching aside, this book promotes critical thinking and I absolutely love it. When I was first approached by Joshua about the Nodal One I was somewhat skeptical about the flange distance. This would be the main reason he decided to develop this adapter in the first place. The other options on the market were limited which lenses would work. The result of this unique problem solving design is the Nodal One focal reducer. It gives you 0.71x wider FOV and one additional stop of exposure. Currently it is the only Focal Reducer compatible with most PL Mount lenses. I think Joshua’s goal originally was to support the rear elements for his favorite anamorphic lenses which obviously opens the door for many others. The depth is achieved by the unique 2-Step non-traditional way the mount is attached to the camera. (See video) There is a 1/4 20 hole at the base of the mount to allow support from below. It’s user Shimmable and the final production version is planned to have user adjustable back focus. I’ve been testing a preproduction model now since NAB. I’ve used it with my Tokina Vista Primes on my RED KOMODO OG & the X. It also works Canon C70 and later @nodalcine plans to have user interchangeable mounts to allow the same adapter to be used on more cameras. The Nodal One is being introduced as a “preorder” Indiegogo campaign which runs until the end of July. The current estimated shipping is stated as November 2023.
