I have had a very significant experience. I will be sharing with greater artistic & professional form, along with a period of increased activity. TC is about to bring a lot of heat. This post is to help my impending message have the best chance of landing.
Initially, I thought it wise to gently tell my collaborators & personal A-list. I view my tale Part I as <potentially> deeply helpful, and especially potent for musicians, engineers, and deep listeners.
Part II transcends all earthly subject matters. Though you will inevitably get to know TC2.0(1000.0) better from this, and understand & enjoy my art & future behaviors even more, that ain’t the point. I seek no attention, fame, sympathy, nor envy, haterz, skepticism. This is meant as service.
Activate a mindset where you want TC storytime and you want to integrate information. There is just so much noise. I wish to be heard, and thus am requesting your focused attention, in advance.
Dominoes will fall from this catalyst. It is in full honesty/transparency that I share - artistically and personally I had “already reached” some inner milestones and alignment. The clarity, absolute fire of urgency lit underneath me, and reconnection to the source have been like a lightning strike to a power plant. But that is not all…
If you think you know the plot… I have not revealed it, even in private, because I have been afraid to “sound crazy”...
I spent the last 48 hrs researching what happened. I have not had a “unique experience” in terms of symptoms, but a very unlikely avenue produced them. While this was not a near death experience in the literal physical sense, this experience generated many of the symptoms. I will be calling this my PANNDE - Psycho-Auditory-Non-Near-Death-Experience. This was eerily similar to the car accident hit & run I experienced Summer 2017 when I had a full-on NDE spinning across 3 lanes of traffic. Right after my awakening, my entire world flipped upside down. I've been in full review of my life since it flashed before my eyes in 2017. Then this PANNDE bookend...

I think the “all we can offer is our art” platitude, for me, would feel a wee bit self-serving/bypassing. When I try it on, I think, maybe we can & will do more than our art has thus far? Maybe present unrest is direct evidence that we need to do exactly that? Maybe we can adjust & enhance our art by even better aligning it with our hearts? I know I can, and I want to continually improve my integration of self & art. I do not think that the most refined resolution from recent and cumulative violent events is “keep on keeping on & tell ourselves we are already the answer.”

We are running it back in a special way at Wenonah Lake August 8th, 5:00 - 7:30 PM! There is a compelling acoustic quality to the area around the lake. Great people, a cute lil’ beach to chill at… excellent vibes. I strongly suggest bringing a zero-waste picnic, bathing suit, and a couple friends. This event is family friendly.
Ivy Soto is opening up the evening at 5:00 with some neo-romantic piano, drone-like rhythms & melodic textures inspired by nature. I am so excited to listen! Ideal setting for it.
Best of all, my dear brother Robin has adequately recovered from a hip injury to commit to the show. It has been an incredible privilege for us growing up in such a musical family, and Robin has inspired me for the entirety of my conscious existence. He has most recently inspired me with his drumming journey, chipping away at embracing the instrument that we’ve always known is his true destiny. He’s a nice bassist, creative textural guitarist, sensitive producer, clear writer, and an even better OTB/Analog Audio Engineer than all that combined. His drumming style is cinematic, sloshy, varied, and often wildly creative and expressive. Quite a different musical approach & time feel than the delightfully click tight drum monsters I usually am so fortunate to collaborate with.
The best part of playing together is our psychic-brotherly-musical-connection. There is no one on the planet with whom I’ve felt more free when playing music. No one has come close to the hours he has unflinchingly supported me getting wayyyy out there sonically. Also, it has been over a month since I most recently crowned myself Lord Of Synth, so for the betterment of humanity it looks like I’m gonna have to do that again. Also, we only live this life one time and don’t take anything for granted and give love while you can, Please.
In review - we’ve got us a nice long set, a highly intriguing opening act, in a beautiful & acoustically compelling lakeside beach, in the dog days of summer, on a nice Friday evening. Come out & let yourself have a great wholesome time while we craft a soundscape.

Here is a nice memory - communing with @keegantawa via a lil’ walkthru re: my affinity for recursive modulation and how the envelopes on the @sequential_llc Pro 3 can get so quick and snappy.
I’ve loved hosting/facilitating/blasting the festival-closing-jams at @moongroovefestival and featuring piles of great players in my sets. Festivals are a joyful opportunity to embrace music as a collaborative art. They are also a time when we artists can strengthen our support for each other in the local, regional, and national scene/industry/network. It has been a beautiful experience, establishing and nourishing an atmosphere of sharing & mutual enhancement. Thank you to all who contributed to making some great jams, connections, and memories happen. It takes everyone.
This year there isn't the same festival-closing-jam to get those collabs in, but I’ll still have some very special guests during my set, and the free synth lesson takes place via my performance: 11:10 AM Sunday July 20, Main Stage.

MoonGroove is coming up! The past 4 rounds I had been in full commitment to the festival, from founding, aiding many wings of operations, to sound & mixing front of house. This year… I am grateful to just play, enjoy the community & naturism, and support my fellow performers. Thank you to all the event organizers, staff, and volunteers. Big thanks to PSHS, winner of the 2023 Timmy Award for Favorite Venue. Looking forward to seeing many friends from near and far.
