We’ve been pouring everything into Truckee Dirt Union lately—the 501c3 we founded back in 2020—and last Friday’s turnout at the Alpenglow Sports Winter Speaker Series completely blew us away. Emily Harrington’s story about navigating motherhood while chasing adventure was powerful, inspiring, and exactly what we needed to kick off the winter season. The energy in the room was incredible, and the fundraising support for TDU? Record-setting. Huge props to everyone who showed up and showed out for the trails we love to ride. In 2003, snowboarding’s story needed to be told.
The new generation was charging hard—but few knew who carved the path before them. The goal was simple: honor the pioneers, their mindset, and the roots of the sport. With help from @standardfilms and @fuel.tv , that vision became The Standard Snowboard Show — the first-ever historical snowboarding series. Each episode paired two icons, from Tom Burt & Matt Hammer to Jeremy Jones & Kevin Jones, Noah Salasnek & Travis Parker, Victoria Jealouse & Andrew Crawford, Jussi Oksanen & Mad Jonsson, Frederik Kalbermatten & Jim Rippey, and a full episode dedicated to Dave Downing. Six half-hour episodes turned into a movement. Fuel TV doubled down, the edits went nonstop, and 36 episodes later—an era was captured forever. Snowboarding has always been about the now, but this series was built to remind riders where it all came from. What a week in Silver City, New Mexico! We had the honor of producing all media for @tourofthegila , and it did not disappoint. For our first time experiencing this city and event, we can’t believe what an incredible, scenic, and demanding road race this turned out to be, tucked into one of the most unique corners of New Mexico. Huge thanks to Jack and Jennifer from the Tour of the Gila, and our media partner @leadersofenchantment for bringing us into the fold and letting us do our thing. We also want to give a shoutout to the town of Silver City and the New Mexico State Police for helping keep the race running smoothly through all five stages. And to the racers—your grit, determination, and relentless effort were inspiring to witness up close. We were boots on the ground from sunup to sundown and we are really proud of what we brought to the table. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. Already looking forward to what’s ahead for the 2026 Tour of the Gila!

Really great to stay with @timanning here in Tahoe. We have a lot of good memories together from the @standardfilms days. My first year as an athlete filming with Standard was Tim’s second year on their film crew, so in some ways we grew up together as far as our skills go.
