Eight generations of my family have built Moulding since 1798. At some point, every family business has to answer the question - what happens next? When yours goes back 227 years, you don’t take that lightly.
Selling was never an option. Moulding had to stay Moulding. The name, the independence and the way we work.
Employee ownership feels the right way. The business is now in the hands of the 100 people who build it every day. They’ve always been the ones doing the work and now they own a share of it too.
I’m still here as Managing Director and the leadership team stays. Nothing changes about how we operate or the standard we hold ourselves to. What changes is that the future of this business is no longer resting on one family. Instead, it belongs to everyone.
A few months on, I can honestly say the energy across the team has been brilliant.
To everyone who’s been part of Moulding over the years, thank you.

A special visit to Stonehenge this morning, marking 100 years of Moulding’s association with the site.
Our involvement began in the early 1920s, building the original café and guest houses, and continues today through ongoing work across the wider estate.
It was rare privilege to spend time inside the stone circle itself, and a moment to reflect on the people and partnerships that have shaped our business over the years.
Thank you to Jenny and team at @stonehenge for organising.

We’re delighted that the Netherhampton Gates at Wilton House have received a Civic Society Award from @salisburycivicsociety .
Created as a new principal entrance to the historic parkland, the gates were designed to restore a classic sense of arrival, framing long views through the landscape while offering a transparent glimpse towards the House beyond.
Crafted in locally sourced Chicksgrove stone, with handmade facing brick laid in traditional lime mortar and hand-forged automated gates, the project combined heritage detailing with discreet modern security.
@tim_moulding joined Francis Johnson Architects at the awards ceremony at the Arts Centre last week on behalf of the team - a proud moment for everyone involved.
