First off I want to thank GOD for this opportunity he has given me. So as a late birthday gift to myself. I’m going on a journey of discovering all I can do and want to do. Acting as a career has always been a dream and goal of mine; and now I’m finally ready to explore that part of me.
This is my first monologue ever and my second time trying acting. So please rate my acting from 1-10 ☺️.
I know there is room for improvement but I just want to know what you guys think😌

Script: Richard Fisher’s Funeral by Kellie Powell
This year is all about what I want to achieve. What I love to do . What I like to spend my time doing. How far I want to go. What I know my reach is. The pace I want to move in. What gives me real joy and satisfaction. No following trends. Not waiting for approval that’s not from GOD. I’ll do what I envision, what I believe and what gives me peace.
So yeah, welcome to my world darling. I hope you have fun here, like I’m going to have fun😉
On this day, GOD showed me I was HIS!!!!
Around 5 a.m, while I was driving along Ikeja Road, I felt something in my spirit urging me to play a song by Dunsin called, “Oh My Spirit, Worship Your Maker”.
I was hesitant at first because I was on the road and I didn’t want to disturb oncoming vehicles if I were to slow down but I slowed down and decided to play it anyway.
Hmmmm, I hadn’t slept the night before, so as I drove, sleep began to creep in.
Then the Spirit prompted me to start singing along to the song. As I sang, I felt strength return, and I was able to stay awake all the way until I got home. It was only on my street, opposite my house, that I finally dozed off and had an accident.
Looking back, I know it was God who kept me throughout that entire journey and brought me home safely. Even though the devil fought hard, God’s protection carried me through.
I am deeply grateful to my Maker who chose to preserve and keep me. If I ever doubted that I was a worthy vessel for God, this day reassured me that
He does not call the worthy; He makes the called worthy by His Grace.
Thank you my Father in Heaven for choosing to protect me♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
