A tribute to dedication. For the new BMW 7 Series commercial production we went from Oman to Dubai and Singapore - overcoming major challenges across multiple locations with nothing more than flight-luggage-sized gear. Together with some of the biggest names in the industry, we brought this piece to life and took care of the virtual production part of the project in cooperation with Pixojam Dubai + Zornshot VFX represented by the amazing Jan Schulz.. Regular systems are transmitters and receivers. Cinelynk is different. Cynelink is a mesh network, each radio transmits and receives. The network can be scaled up indefinitely by adding more radios. The SDR (Software defined radio) is super flexible, as each node forwards the data on the network right where it’s needed. It works as seamless as a WiFi, just so much more powerful. Starting from the idea of a high performance network, we managed to integrate more functions, which usually come all together on a film set.
