Peach Rings/Those Dogs- Hangout Forever Out May 22nd Three Count Records • • • In the last couple years of being the world's most famous two separate bands that are made up of the same people, we have grown as performers and songwriters for both projects, and what better way to document that than with a split? We’re super proud of how these songs came out and we’re extremely excited to share them with you! The release of the split is going to be incredible and we hope you can join us for one of our shows on the weekender where we will have the vinyl and other goodies!! 5.22- @eveningmuse Charlotte NC 5.23- @the_pinhook Durham NC 5.24- @lilyssnackbar Boone NC Hangout Forever features six songs—three from each band—that we self recorded in Asheville and then had produced by @scottysandwich in Durham and mastered by @material_mastering . The album art was done by @goblinrange and the layout was by our bestie @sofiadupre ! We are also so excited to announce that the sweetest @hansgruberandthediehards are featured on this record! When @punkbandit moved to NC @bullcityrecords had just opened and it’s been a staple of my life for almost two decades! A pillar of the punk and indie music scene. Whether it was shows at Bull City HQ, burritos and then record shopping, chatting about recommendations, or the hours of browsing…it’s a special place in my heart. I think I still own every single record I’ve ever bought at Bull City Records. It’s a huge percentage of my collection. Hundreds and hundreds of records. From the first 7 inches Chaz put out to the most recent grabs. You can go inside BCR and give Chaz three adjectives and he’d quickly recommend a record for you. I can vividly remember Chaz recommending @kinggizzard “I’m in Your Mind Fuzz” in 2014-2015. Or @hellobleached “Ride Your Heart” in 2013, or @courtneybarnett “A Sea of Split Peas” in 2013. It’s where I discovered @elmichelsaffair @thecopyrights @teenagehalloween @thecoathangers and @thewhitewires ! Many many others. These are bands I still play out and love to this day. In honor of @bullcityrecords I’ll be playing only records purchased over the years for the next couple weeks for vinyl nights! Tons of genres and jams. Come celebrate the amazing success of BCR! And to Chaz, to new beginnings! Thank you for all the amazingness over the years. Hands down one of the best shops ever.
