A Hollywood actress on the verge of a breakdown. A hotel manager in Mexico City just trying to do his job. Two people who swore — for very good reasons — that they weren’t going to fall in love.
At Midnight was my second feature, and it holds such a special place for me. Getting to shoot entirely in Mexico City with an incredible local crew, watching @monicabarbaro and @diegoboneta find their chemistry in real time, figuring out how to make a city feel like a love story unto itself — it was one of the most creatively alive I’ve ever felt on a set. The whole cast, including @andersholm , @cat_cohen , @damecaseybrown , @fernandocarsa , and @whitneycummings , brought so much heart and humor to this thing.
Not to mention my incredible producers turned best friends @nataliaboneta@jglick1717@dave and @eerendiraa
