âFive drops over a landscapeâ, 2025, acrylic on canvas mounted on layered shaped wood. 20.5x26 inches
This work was inspired by the multilayered camouflage that grief often takes. The older I get, the more I realize that grief is never truly gone, but is hidden and integrated - no matter how beautiful of a life you lead. This is a meaningful piece to me and Iâm Incredibly grateful to the @abvgallery team for showing this work in their latest show âno rain, no flowersâ group show. Special thanks to @nate_frost and @atlexwolf for placing this work on opening night!
The work of over 70 artists are available through the link in @abvgallery bio - check it out to see the other talented artists in the show!
Grateful to be included in this spectacular group show âTilt your face towards the kissing sunâ curated by @madison__nunes at @southriverartstudios alongside some incredibly talented artists. True to form, I didnât get any photos of me at the opening, but I enjoyed meeting several new artists and seeing some familiar faces too. There are a few gallery days over the next month along with a closing artist talk on Sept 10.
Latest piece from the studio for you. Really enjoyed making this piece in a new way / one of the larger pieces on shaped panels. Do you like this direction?

âJust cicada song set in starlightâ, 2026, acrylic on canvas mounted on layered shaped panel, 26x21 inches
So excited to show this new one @swancoachhousegallery annual âSummer Invitationalâ opening on May 28-June 30 alongside 9 other pieces of mine and many talented artists work! This piece like many other of my shaped pieces is cut from a simple painting and mounted onto a layered wood design. I was thinking of the feeling of having your body vibrate by cicadas for that quintessential southern summer night. There is something dream, eerie and deeply familiar about this feeling.
Hope to see you there!
Last week to check out my show NIGHT SWIM at @spruillgallery closing April 24. It has been such a fantastic run with a great reception to the work.
This dyptch in a custom artist made frame was so fun to make and I love the markmaking I was able to achieve.
Who taught the night to bloom, 2026, acrylic on canvas ( dyptych) in artis built frame, approx 40x 75 inches framed , available

Install shot of multiple pieces in âNight Swimâ on view @spruillgallery through April 24.
I love this creative install of my work wrapping this fireplace place in the historic home turned art gallery. Each piece is like a window into a memory or a hidden place. Which one is your favorite?
Moonlight under time dilation, 2025, acrylic on canvas mounted on shaped panel, 50 x 36 inches

Iâve been thinking a lot about how light shifts and changes shape not only in the moment of being actively perceived, but through the recalling of memories and through being recorded by technology to add a further layer to distortion. Iâve always been fascinated by the ring of color that due to atmospheric conditions around the light of the moon, which is itself reflected and distorted from its original source !

This piece is currently on view in my show NIGHT SWIM @spruillgallery alongside @hannah_ehrlich_ through April 24
âTo hold the world inside your chestâ, 2026, acrylic on canvas, 52x 70 inches
.
This piece was the last large one made for my show @spruillgallery and a bit of an outlier compared to the rest. It started as a more simple landscape but quickly outgrew that. Ive been interested in different types of lights, reflections, and lens flares all contributing to a shared reality. This world is layered and nuanced and what are eyes can perceive are just at the surface.
âSunlight under time dilationâ, 2026, acrylic on canvas mounted onto multi panel shaped wood, 32 x 32 inches
On view in my show NIGHT SWIM at @spruillgallery through April 24, this piece is based on the parabolas seen through phone camera lenses when photographing the sun. Im lately trying to understand the relationship between experiencing the world around you and technologies influence/ filtering the world as an act of seeing.
Honestly enamored to be included in REFRESH, a group show at @abvgallery in partnership with @atlbotanical opening tonight. My shaped piece âthree lightsâ is on view next to the incredible 3D installation based off the piece in the orchid room at the botanical garden - which is one of my fav places in the whole garden.
