A series of silhouette portraits created as part of the @le_guess_who fundraiser campaign. (go support them!)With “discovery” as one of the festival’s core principles, capturing people anonymously through movement became the focus. Exploring that idea through color and form, reflecting the variety of characters found in both the curation of artists and the audience members, and making them blend together. I like how much personality comes through even though you don’t see their faces. By isolating the silhouettes the focus shifts to what I’m personally drawn to when observing a crowd like the subtle ways people move, their habits and the shapes they create.Thanks to all the lovely people grooving, dancing, or making music in front of the lens.Special thanks to @rijkofernandez for assisting me that day, and to @samanthalippett, @barry.spooren, @bobvanheur and the whole Le Guess Who? team for making the festival possible. ️

I had the opportunity to be the Co-director and Director of Photography for three live music videos for the new album Liminal by @joepbeving. It was such a pleasure to collaborate with @studio_petervanlangen and expand his visual language for this album to film.
