Cowards? There not Cowards. The damage was done earlier in the season. Loopy Lou fucked us up. To get us to this point, Nuno and his staff have done nothing more than a miracle.
Come On You Irons⚒️
It’s Liberation day in Italy, also bean picking day. Very relaxing 😎. I’ve got a few days off from grafting in Budapest so myself and the wife are spending it together in Sicily. Weathers beautiful and we’re chilling before I get stressed watching the Hammers⚒️ play Everton and Mr Moyes.
Come on boys make it a perfect day🙏⚒️
A FILM IN HONOUR OF TONY BURNS MBE
A name known across boxing but only his boxers understood his love as a coach. Burnsy coached more champions than any other and marked his boxers, Repton boxing club, and the sport itself immeasurably. ‘Learning The Ropes’ gives an insight into what this man created.

LEARNING THE ROPES - BFI
Tuesday 31st March the premiere of LEARNING THE ROPES will play to a sold out capacity in NFT1 screen at the @britishfilminstitute southbank, Opening the season ‘the cinematic life of boxing’ curated by @cjnwonka that brings our favourite boxing films across a month long festival.
‘An intimate and deeply moving documentary about Bethnal Green’s legendary Repton Boxing Club.
Repton Boxing Club is recognised as one of the most famous amateur boxing clubs in the world. Through its candid portrait of Tony Burns, the club’s legendary former head coach of 60 years, captured before his death in 2021, Learning the Ropes presents a singular account of his impact upon the institution’s boxers past and present. It also explores the role of the amateur boxing club as a means of understanding social and community life and, on a wider level, the human condition. Before the screening, curator Dr Clive Chijioke Nwonka will contextualise the films in this season and the relationship between boxing and cinema.’ - BFI

A Truly Phenomenal Man! 💜
@hari_budha_magar was a Gurkha serving with the British Army in Afghanistan in 2010 when he tragically lost both of his legs.
The ex-serviceman set himself the challenge of climbing the highest mountain on every continent in a bid to prove disability is no barrier and succeeded! He then became the first above-the-knee amputee to climb to the 29,035ft summit of Everest in 2023!
Last year, Hari made history by becoming the first ever double amputee to complete the Seven Summits challenge, reaching the highest mountain in each continent of the world! 🏔️
Hari received a #PrideOfBritain Award in 2024, presented by Sir Gary Oldman and Ray Winstone. 🏆
