Working on something for my USA cohort. ELVIS: THE LONELY HUNTER ... returns! It was always going to be the difficult second album. Nature is cruel, not all survive. The original, award-winning etc film (2012) here: youtube.com/watch?v=EY_IpANHUrE
Working on creative responses / homage to my all time favourite 'magic fail' video, Michel & Sven's viral Tischdeckentrick (2011) with help from @markawebber and in this case some sounds from @pelterpegs . Foley required (big job). With thanks to @loved_orleer for encouragement and @jakespop for introduction.
Anxious Times
Artist Matt Hulse layers photographs from his past decade, marked by upheaval, dislocation, and dreaming, bringing to life surreal liminal spaces formed from improbable fusions of places across the world.

Short study from a shoot at @thehexagonrdg as I continue to document developments. Gently does it. Has an AI feel, but it's time lapse on an Android. I guess we're looking at the intersection of digital architectural modelling and partially-realised reality? Perfect lighting supplied by Spring Sunlight™ Most of my time on site was filming the inelegant pouring of splattering squidgy cement from an extremely lengthy flexible, shamelessly analogue and frankly rude hose to create new floors; this reminded me of the unfortunate Augustus Gloop in Wonka's factory - especially the sound. I was entranced.
Over the last few months, the new Hexagon Studio has been taking shape.
From the demolition of the old dock, backstage area, and offices to the first foundations and framework - a new venue for Reading is rising.
The Hexagon Studio will be a cutting edge 200 seat/300 standing venue, perfect for comedy, gigs, theatre and more - and will complement the main auditorium.
With thanks to @thisismatthulse who is studiously documenting the entire transformation - more from Matt soon!
The Hexagon remains open throughout with a full programme of shows and events for all to enjoy.
